I don't offer standardized services. I intervene where knowledge systems fail: where institutional models fall short, where structures break down, and where memory and information are lost, distorted, or excluded.

I collaborate with libraries, archives, museums, scientific collections, academic institutions, NGOs, and community projects that need more than just a technical fix. My interventions are both conceptual and operational: I analyze structures, design languages, connect data, develop tools, and support transformation processes — from within and from below.

I'm currently developing metadata models, micro-ontologies, RDF schemas, hybrid vocabularies, FAIR/CARE strategies, and semantic structures applied to scientific and heritage collections, open science projects, and spaces of cultural data and memory.

Areas of Focus

  • Semantic consultancy and data curation
Ontologies, taxonomies, linked data, the semantic web, RDF, SKOS, OWL, knowledge classification, schema harmonization, metadata, vocabulary control, record cleaning and enrichment, semantic mapping. For systems —especially academic and scientific— that need to think more clearly about what they organize.
  • Digital preservation and asset management
Repositories, metadata, preservation workflows, digital sustainability, endangered heritage, hybrid collections, DAM. For institutions that want to preserve without freezing.
  • Information architecture and user experience
Design of accessible, narrative, and usable systems. Structure planning, critical navigation, context- and community-centered interfaces, participatory design. For those who want access to be not just technical, but political, activist, and intentional.
  • Advisory for non-conventional libraries and archives
Design from scratch, frontline libraries, services on the edge, models for precarious or conflictual contexts. For libraries that exist without permission, or resist from the margins.
  • Critical research and training
Workshops, content development, diagnostics, editorial materials. Technical and intellectual support for those who want to build their own tools instead of replicating broken models.
  • Memory, orality, and endangered sound
Recording, handling, and ethical use of oral tradition, languages, music, and silence. Oral archives, revitalization strategies, sound curation. For projects that listen where others only catalog.

Each collaboration begins with the real conditions of the project — its tensions, its limits, and its possibilities. I don't sell templates. I listen, I read between the data, and I design accordingly. What I offer is strategic support, combining technical tools, critical perspective, and, when necessary, social commitment.

I work with what exists — and with what's missing. If your organization needs a critical eye, technical support, or a stronger conceptual framework, get in touch.
